How it goes, day by day
Haridwar sightseeing
Arrive in Haridwar, meet the team at the station, and check in to the hotel. Lunch is self-paid. In the evening visit Ganga Aarti at Har Ki Pauri, Mansa Devi Temple by cable car, and Chandi Devi Temple. Overnight in Haridwar.
Haridwar to Guptkashi
Drive from Haridwar to Guptkashi, about 220 km and 8 to 9 hours, via Devprayag, Rudraprayag, and Dhari Devi Temple. Overnight in Guptkashi.
Guptkashi to Kedarnath
Drive to Gaurikund, about 30 km, then trek about 22 km to Kedarnath. Pony, palanquin, or helicopter are available at extra cost. Attend evening Aarti and stay overnight in Kedarnath in a basic hotel or camps.
Return to Guptkashi
Attend morning Aarti, trek about 22 km back to Gaurikund, and drive to Guptkashi. Overnight in Guptkashi.
Guptkashi to Haridwar via Rishikesh
Drive from Guptkashi to Haridwar via Rishikesh, about 220 km. Visit Ram Jhula, Laxman Jhula, and Parmarth Niketan, with optional Neer Garh Waterfall and Beatles Ashram, plus paid activities such as rafting, bungee, and zipline. Overnight in Haridwar.
Day 7
Haridwar to Ahmedabad
Visit Daksh Mahadev Temple and local markets in Haridwar. In the afternoon, board the non-AC sleeper train to Ahmedabad.
