How it goes, day by day

    Day 0

    Delhi to Guptkashi

    Depart at 9:30 PM from Akshardham Metro Station, Delhi. Travel overnight towards Guptkashi.

    Day 1

    Arrive at Guptkashi or Phata

    Reach Guptkashi or Phata, check in, and rest. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

    Day 2

    Trek to Kedarnath

    Wake at 2 AM and check out by 3 AM. Drive to Sonprayag, then take the local shuttle to Gaurikund at own cost. Trek about 22 km to Kedarnath in 8 to 10 hours. Overnight stay in a homestay or hotel about 100 to 200 m from the temple.

    Day 3

    Return from Kedarnath

    Have breakfast, trek back down, and travel to Sonprayag or Phata or Guptkashi. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

    Day 4

    Rishikesh to Delhi

    After breakfast, drive to Rishikesh and explore if time permits. Then begin the overnight drive to Delhi.
